About Hope Shanthi Rubinkowski:
Hope Rubinkowski is an Access Bars® facilitator, energy healer, life coach, actress, and adventurer who believes that anything is possible. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she travels and teaches internationally. Embodying joy, Hope loves exploring with people to facilitate expansive living, much of which uses the dynamic tools of Access Consciousness®. She teaches a bi-monthly class in Seattle called Playing in Presence, which utilizes games and a safe, playful environment to help people get in touch with their inner children, break down barriers between themselves and others, venture into the unknown. Hope has the capacity to hold space without judgement and quickly sense where a person has solidified limitations in their life. Some of her favorite questions include: What else is possible? What strong-ness is hiding behind this “wrong-ness”? And, What fun, what joy, what play can show up right away?
Hope’s mission as an actor is to bring characters to life that surprise people and convey the human experience as honestly as possible. She fell in love with acting in first grade after being cast in a teacher’s rendition of The Fisherman’s Wife. Corny? Perhaps. True? Absolutely. When Hope was young she dreamt of being a doctor, actor, singer, and dancer. Though she still loves science, dancing and singing, as well as painting, writing, and directing from time to time, her main artistic passion has always been, and continues to be, acting.
Hope studied at the University of Washington where she earned a BA in Drama with Honors, and had the opportunity and privilege to study and work with Jon Jory, Cathy Madden, Valerie Curtis-Newton, Andrew Tsao, Robyn Hunt, and Steve Pearson. A Seattle native, she am based out of both Seattle and Los Angeles.
