Hello My Friends!

Dr. Sarah here, and welcome to video 158.

Okay, change.

Change by choice can be really fun and enjoyable, and, a lot of times, we may have an expectation of it coming in with ease. However, there is a possibility that it could end up being really uncomfortable!

So what would it be like for you to be okay with change being uncomfortable? The truth is, if it was comfortable, you probably would have changed it a long time ago!

Guided Exercise:

Now, I’d like you to go ahead and close your eyes and bring your attention to your breathing. And now just tune in to a time, maybe recent time, where you chose to change something.

What was that like?

And was it uncomfortable at points?

Is there something now that you would like to change that you avoid because it would be uncomfortable?

So, what if you allow being uncomfortable to be an ease even though it’s uncomfortable? You could breathe through it and know that’s exactly where you’re required to be.

What’s that like for you?

Okay, now go ahead and open your eyes.

What do you notice? What’s that change like now after breathing through the uncomfortable sensation of it?

A Space to BE With

Take a moment to tune in and ask yourself the following questions.

How many expectations do you have about what change should look like?

Is there a specific thing you have been aiming to change?

Is your expectation stuck in the “good” or “bad” outcome cycle?

Does that keep you from choosing change in this area?

What change have you been avoiding in fear that it would be uncomfortable?

Have you considered being okay with being uncomfortable if it were to show up as a result of the change you’re making?

What if this is part of the change you have been asking for? It just may not fit into what you “thought” it would be?

What if that’s okay?

And what if that’s exactly where you require to be?

How does it get any better?

Let’s Talk About It!

When you are willing to be in the question and look at your life from a different perspective, it opens you up to a different world of possibilities… a space where choice and change is readily available with more ease. What would it be like?

So I invite you to share your awareness and points of view on my YouTube Channel.

All right my friends. Be with that, play with that, and let me know what that’s like for you and I’ll look forward to talking to you again soon. Take care for now.
